I agree with dino.

IMO the K20 is a far superior engine than the H22. Dont get me wrong the H22 is a good engine but the K20 has improved on it

It's a lighter, more compact & more modern engine & comes with six speeds. You can also double iVTEC it and stuff.

However, boredom would be better fulfilled by spraying Bilt Hamber at the bloody thing.

I don't see it. H22 designed back in 1991 did 200 hp and 35 mpg. K20 did the same 10 years later but a bit lighter, nit necessarily more efficient.

Same debate as the McLaren f1 and bugatti veyron.

But the k20 is a great engine to tune. I just don't see the point/hassle of a k20 swap with little results.

You have to look at the entire package; specific fuel consumption curve, emissions and mass.

If you're mass-producing cars, it's great. If you're going to the hassle of a VERY complicated engine swap, it's a CWOT.

But then again, so is most customising/tuning. You'd be far better off getting a better car.

Ah; then we've got the same debate as to whether there actually IS a better car than a Prelude!

I think I know what ur on about merc, basically rotate the motor 180 instead of just the head and fit a K20 box as then it should turn the right way for it?

there was someone who was trying to get a group buy going for a custom 6 speed box for the h series on Lude behaviour or hyper rev a few years ago. The price was less than i expected (circa £3k iirc). i dont know if it ever went ahead.
