Back to the Hytech though...

Those replicas are cheaper than I thought they'd be! Ratty yours is genuine?
Wonder if @newkid can add anything to say about the rep...

Mine is a genuine hytech.
The replicas are best bang for £ manifold money can buy.
But the genuines go one further. I want the most power without opening the engine up so I spent.

Thanks for the info guyz. 8-)

New exhaust is on the cards after belt changes and when I finally get my rust sorted :(

My current standard system was cack at the backbox -> whatever pipe it joins to... that bad that it had just kind of melded together. Had to cut the join out and weld in a new bit of pipe. Proper bodge but it's done the job for now and the car actually feels so much better for not queefing down the road

Of course the whole lot will be replaced though ;)

If one of you wants to take this to PM instead of spamming up this topic that would be cool... interested in the differences between the 3!

It's cool mate, go to town on it, I'd like to know how good they are.

I've decided to go for straight pipe and doughnut joint when I get around to making the new system.
