Is there an idiots guide to posting photos somewhere on this site? If so, please point me in the right direction
and I'll have a go.
Thanks.

Mate I feel your pain. I have been having these issues for months now and its pissing me right off. Runs Perfect when its on cold start, Idles perfect, but when it gets up to running temp it goes like a pig in glue. Once you hit VTEC there is no problem. Normal acceleration is so restrictive it spoils the car.

So far I have done the following:

New dizzy cap and rotor arm.
New fuel filter
Replaced 02 sensor with another used one
Replaced whole intake manifold
FITV (about 3 times)
IACV (about 3 times)
Throttle Body about 3-4 times
TPS got two tried them both
Ignition Timing done
coil pack replaced
main relay changed
ECU swap (used an auto but its still the same thing)
map Sensor (used 5G one because that's all I have)

AND STIILL THE muffin is playing up.

drokking doing my head in. The other things I can think of to try is the injectors/resistors, Valve clearances (they are a bit ticky) ,fuel pump, knock sensor, crank sensor, water temp sensor or dizzy itself. I have searched the net several time but I have not come up with anything conclusive.

Realy running out of ideas and patience.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I have this problem with mine and it it frustrating as hell!

I've just cleaned out my VTEC solenoid as this solved this last time

As before it was really clogged this time...... Not so much :/ so in not sure this will solve it but ill tell you all tomoz morning :)

I did find a suspect bit of silicone though but that could have came off the rocker cover when I replaced that the other day

Anyways ill let you all know....fingers crossed

please do mate, I have seen people mention EGR but I cleaned it up when I did the manifold swap. One thing I did notice tthere is hardly any pull on the vacuum for the EGR even under revs, but I don't know how much pull its meant to have. If you get your fingers under the diaphragm through the underside of the RGR and lift it, it cuts the engine.

Welcome chap. Its a long shot but was it doing it before you fitted the iridium plugs?? Reason i ask is that a friend of mine fitted iridium's to his vti civic and 100miles later it was doing just what yours is. Turned out to be the bloody plugs lol.Just a thought. :)

Thanks for all this info Gents. As you may know Malaysia has been at somewhat of a standstill for the past few days while they re-elect (ahem!) their prime minister.
Now we're (sort of) back to normal I'll be taking the Prelude down to my trusted guy armed with all your feedback which I've cut and pasted into a "Here's what to do" memo for him. Actually, I do trust him and he's not one to dither or give me the normal mañana waffle, so fingers crossed he can go through this very thorough list and get to the bottom of it.
Your feedback and assistance is very much appreciated. Thanks.

Just changed EGR valve, still got slight flat spots but on that short run out at running temp it pulled a lot better, will see how I get on. I think I will order a new o2 sensor. Will update on here soon as I know what it is for sure.
