I have no idea, what sort of power are you looking for? Would you need more than the stock 50mm crank?

I'm aiming for 400 bhp to start with but I want some scope to go higher if I decide to use it for a drag application. Basically I'm looking to build an engine which will be bulletproof at 400bhp and something that won't need stripping down again if I decide to up the power by adding a bigger turbo etc.

it'll be a big build then! i've not seen after market standard sized cranks for ludes so can only assume the must be ok!

you not even a little tempted by the crower strocker setup on here then?

How well do H22 gearboxes stand up to the extra Torque?

What reason have you chosen to go Turbo over say other forms of boosting?

may i?

h22 boxes are fairly resiliant to higher power, there is one i know over here that was running big numbers on a standard box.

other forms of boost, ie S/C? its a PITA, as h22's are gay and run the wrong way compared to say a k series.

also the way the chargers are fitted to these you cant fit an intercooler, even charge coolers are difficult.

I've been very tempted by the stroker kit! Problem is having that kind of money to splash out, the way I'm doing it at the moment is buying a little bit every pay day which is doable, when it comes to saving 1) I'm useless and 2) something usually breaks in the house or my mrs gets wind of extra money in my account and wants to go on holiday

I can't see it being a problem as the darton wet sleeves are designed to be used with open deck blocks and they are supposed to handle silly power but I'm in 2 minds now after what the others have said :-?
