it depends where the kph/mph converter is fitted. some one clarify.

It's 18 mph for vtec to be enabled, however the speedo has been slowed down to mph from km, thus making the new enabling point 28.9 mph

18mph - 28.9 kph

The car still thinks its reading your speed in kph
