So whats the best real combo to use?
Darton sleeves with the mahle?

You dont need sleeves with the mahls mate as they are made in the same as the h22 pistons, if you go with cp's or wiseco etc then you'll need sleeves.

Few guys were saying there that the mahle's crumble :(

How can i obtain roughly 300-400bhp and keep it as a daily?

You can run mahls on there own, and they can handle 400bhp how long for i couldnt tell you dont think anyone can say depends on your tuner and how much u thrash it i guess.

You can't use mahles on iron sleeves like dartons.

Mahle golds are designed to run on only frm sleeved cars like the s2000 and the prelude.


Mahles handle the power but the debate is weather they last longer than 30k. I can't say they won't or will.

Seen some other stuff... JE i think it was, dunno if it was pistons or the sleeves but seem to be a few combos out there people have used

and whats your opinion on this kit?

For maximum reliability I would sleeve the block. Mahle golds are what I intended on using but there's not enough people who have had them in the motor for 30,000 miles plus too unproven for my liking :)
