Not sure on the second one though, might need opening up a bit with a dremel.

im after a gasket for my fujitsubo manifold. I need the one between the manifold and downpipe. I made one out of the universal gasket and it lasted about a week. the two flanges that meet together are not flat. Not to sure how to go about sorting this. any ideas would be great. cheers Jon

hey guys

keithb, the second link SHOULD be fine for you as i suspect you have an ebay manifold? however from experience the gasket in the first link is a very poor fit and obstructs the ports.

as for the fujitsubo (pics taken from another forum)

the primary's are the stock diameter (44mm) so an OEM gasket is perfect and the only gasket ive found to fit properly so that the ports arent obstructed by material, so thats what ive used.

Image

as for the join for the primary to the secondary's the inner diameter is larger than stock - 48mm so your only option here is to make your own gasket as ive done! all you need is to make a template from card and then transfer the template onto the gasket material and use a 50mm hole cutter! take your time and do a good job of it and it WILL seal for good, if you have a warped flange then double up the gasket but use some exhaust paste inbetween the layers to help.

Image

ive used this stuff to make my gaskets and have been spot on -

as for the donut gasket joining the downpipe to the B pipe you need a 60mm (2.36") INNER diameter donut gasket or "fire ring" some people call it, dont just settle for a 2.5" as it wont give a good seal.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wire-Ring-exh ... 483b6160ac

Image

same thing for B pipe to decat, decat to catback and catback to rear section. 60mm hole cutter this time, make a card template and then make your gasket.

like i said, just take your time and do it properly. i found it easiest to sandwich the gasket material inbetween two pieces of wood then trace my card template onto the wood and cut them out like that so theres as little roughed up edges as possible but theres probably an easier/quicker way to do it
