A guide to what spark plug colour indicates:

Is there a catalytic convertor on the car?
What about poor ignition system?

I'd be interested to know about the plugs too, I'm getting crap mileage from my car and my spark plugs look the same, even though they were new only a few months ago. I think my mechanic mate said to check if they're wet after the engine has been run up to temperature?

plugs look fine to me, 3rd one in looks richer but that could be a compression difference, have you tested the compression, now that would fool the ecu

Yes car now has a Cat on it and returned 200 miles to a tank, put it on to see if it would help

It basically had a new dizzy when I got the car due to running issues

I'll comp test it this afternoon, I've gotta go out, does the engine need to be cold to do a comp test?

doesnt make much difference really as to loss that much compression to do that to your fuel it wouldnt matter hot or cold

Not not tried that, does that really work or is it a myth?
