Gen 3 jerking when accelerating?

It was 2nd hand orginal distributor. Am going to have to start replacing bits arent I.
1st. Throttle position sensor
2nd. The module thing in the distributor.

But first will blow out all vacum hoses as suggested.

After a whole lot of faffing around im a bit embarrised to say i think the problem may be... stale/dodgy fuel.
