I'm also in for one of these - they did feature in my May 2012 issue of Honda Tuning (USA) mag I get. There was no mention of this being an untested part.

http://www.kstuned.com/detail.src?SKU=K ... Sub=83&NM=

Kaizenspeed/KS Tuned has stepped up to offer H22 users an outstanding alternative to the annoying H23 manual tensioner conversion. As it is well documented, most know that the H22's factory "auto tensioner" is prone to failure, resulting in bent valves at the very least. While some go through the hassle of converting to the H23's manual tensioner, the process is tedious and, thanks to KS, completely unnecessary. Their tensioner allows you to simply remove 2 bolts, and replace your failed tensioner with this gorgeous CNC-machined, billet-aluminium unit complete with a hardened tension rod and jam nut. A custom adjustment wrench, included with every order, makes for an easy, five-minute installation during a timing belt change. High quality, affordable, and easy to install - 3 things that should have you H22 owners on KS's website ordering before they're all gone!"

So I will join in for this one.

p.s. If you get the delivery to a business address it might help - you nearly always avoid import tax and VAT. Everything delivered to my mates garage - comes duty and tax free. He was surprised I was put off from ordering from USA because he never pays any duty or tax.

I meant they are only just out to the public, no one has run one for XXXX miles to see how well they last, that's all. I think they look good. If I hadn't already sourced my H23 bits and had other things to buy, I'd probably be in to try too. But not right now for me. When I build another engine I'll see what the reviews are looking like then in a year or so.

Good luck guys and keep us all updated.

Nice promo video, does look good actually.

Didn't realise they did a spacer to lose the balance shaft crank pulley. 8)

Just bought one from USgAy. Will see how it goes. $132 delivered but may have import charges. So same as the H23 tensioner so far.

That looks great, I wonder why Honda didn't go for a manual tensioner in the first place? Will this need to be checked and adjusted periodically as the belt ages or something?

Also, slightly unrelated, but has any one deleted their balance shafts? Is there a noticeable increase in vibrations from the engine?
