yeah the car was running well before this so thats why i was gutted when i hit this problem

Spare chip is with me, I added a spare socket as you requested. Will def be posting lunchtime.

Like I said, this is the last spare I had, I'm awaiting delivery of more blank chips - so hope it works.

It's annoying I don't have a JDM myself, to test whole batches when I've burnt them before they go out.

^^ Get a spare JDM ECU and test that way. I have a UK engine which is working great with a JDM ECU (bar the knock sensor CEL

Really? They do work ok then? Is it just the other way round with the knock sensor problem?

Even still, not like I can test a Spoon chip on a sueprcharged prelude now is it? 550cc injectors and 9psi of boost - don't think that'll be catered for in the Spoon fuelling maps somehow!

there is a guy on puk for sale thread sell ing what he says is a jdm ecu right now but i think its a ukdm one as has a G00 code in the picture

could be good as a spare

What and become another Nathan and not work on the main one!

Tempting, but two other cars in the household and no where to put it rules that out (for now!

).

I guess I could use Ste the guinea pig one day to try my next batch out.
