And im talking about engines, before the crude ones appear on this thread... :lol:

Ive got the 2.3 crank and con rods, with ATR pistons. Will this go into my H22A5 block ? if not, i know it will fit a H22A / A2, or a H23 block!

you need a 50mm block, IIRC the a5 is a 55mm one but i maybe wrong!

Im pretty sure mines a 50, and the rest are 55. I dunno :lol:

I just took mine out to my cousins, removed them bits you told me too, let it warm up and drove it home. Responds loads nicer now. Give her a beating 8-)

A5 is a 50mm crank. A7 & A8 are 55mm for the higher compression IIRC

So, the 2.3 crank is hould be fine with alex in my bottom end ?

If its a 50mm crank yeah. Wouldn't have thought the 2.3 had higher compression to warrant the 55mm crank but don't know much about the 23 motor

H22a2,3 & 4 are all 50mm
a5,6,7 & 8 are 55mm.
Type S Ludes are based on an a4 engine and un until early 1997 use a 50mm crank. After that they are 55mm i think. But Im not sure regarding the Type S.
