I dont fancy fouling a £40 set of spark plugs everytime i try to get my car running.
I have some 1 step colder coppers but again they might not run right until the car is tunned.

Does anyone know of some cheap plugs i can run for the time being for the H22.

8-)

Have you tried eBay? I've got a set of 4 NGK plugs for my B20A2 in my watch list, £9 delivered. I'll be honest I've not looked for ones for the H22A but I'm guessing they might be a similar price?

I used Bosch super 4's in my Golf, it ran really lumpy. Went over to some bog standard single prong NGK plugs and it settled down immediately. Iirc some lude owners have experienced the same?

German plugs in Japanese engines don't tend to mix well. But Japanese plugs in German engines are fine?!

BKR6E. They're about £1 each if you search. Good for 10k miles at least.

Yes! Very much this - made the car feel like it had a serious ignition fault!

Might be the same plug as this but without the platinum tip etc:

I only ever used the platinum one but the sizes look the same.

I think I still have my old NKG platinum 2.2vti plugs which covered something 45K in their life time. As far as I know they're still very usable. I changed them as a matter of course, and I kept them as spares just in case. You can have them for free if they're any good to you mate, when do you need them for?
