Lude Generation

Hello ladies n gents!

As some of you know I have fitted a supercharged K20, the performance & gearbox is well matched to the preludes chassis and everything works in sync and the car is magic to drive, the only issue is I am having withdrawal symptoms from the glorious n/a soundtrack, now to be more specific, the sound of a well tuned induction kit, not the exhaust note, infact I dislike the Honda 4 cylinder loud exhaust noise and have always had quiet exhausts on my Honda's.

I think I may end up having to build a high hp K series N/A motor

I have whipped off my supercharger as I noticed a crack in the IM and will be fitting the original plenum back on tomorrow. Hopefully once its through its MOT I'll drive it NA for a while and see if I miss the glorious noise!

Its an expensive road to take but could it be worth it

Anybody have any N/A Honda sound tracks we could compile here for me to listen too?

I have to agree with you and the typical loud raspy Honda exhaust notes too. I much prefer a deeper rumble myself. My 3rd gen has the perfect soundtrack for my ears. You can still make out each breath it takes, but beyond that it has a deep purr from the rear end

Strange. You can still hear the N/A soundtrack under the charger noise.
I personally prefer pure raspy exhaust with a tad of bellow.

Shame we haven't got to see the car in the metal, in its supercharged guise.

sometimes its all about the sound, power is great but if the car isnt singing to you. My car sounds great at vtec but too noisy and not in a good way for me at lower revs so my tunes are on loud all the time. Iknow my car isnt going to sound like a an f1 car or the new jag with its low growl but i hear some civics and other peoples ludes and mine is so different.

I love the sound my 2.8 6pot makes. Its like the h22 but with gusto. Still got a rasp but all the growl as well.

I must admit I'm not a fan of a supercharger at all, much prefer turbo or n/a. Alright for some to have the money to swap when wanted

The f20 in the s2k sounds quality with a cai, de-cat and exhaust bypass would love itbs on it
