Recently brought some Bosch super 4 spark plugs. Anyone know if these are any good? Do they have a good reputation?

The ones I have on at moment are dead standard I am to believe and have been on the car since I brought her 2 and half years ago, and maybe longer before with previous owners?

Can I expect better/smoother acceleration with these Bosch super 4 spark plugs with better performance with the KV 83 ht leads I also have once fitted on the spark plugs? At present the car kick down [auto box] isn't bad but it feels as if it wants to go far better than indeed it actually does do with current spark plugs. Will Bosch super 4 make any difference?

The current ones are a bit knackered so thought it would be a good idea to get some decent spark plugs.... So come on then peeps are these ones any good?

Cheers

Peachy

Every time I see mention of these it's usually something negative. Can't say I have any experience with them myself though. :?

Sorry mate, I should have asked what you got when you mentioned it.

Ok in some cars, but don't work particularly well in our engines I'm afraid. :(

Take them back if you can & get some NGK's from Halfords. Or when they don't have them..a motor factors. In fact, just go straight to the motor factors; they will be cheaper.

You may need to have them ordered in for the next day though, as they may well not stock them. So don't expect to pick them up on the day necessarily. ;)

Ok mate. Cheers for the advice. How much are the NGKs? Will they be better than the ones I have already on the lude?

Ok, just an example of standard copper core - which will be perfectly fit for purpose, just won't last as long as Platinum's. But should still last you at least a year..

That may not be the best price..I just searched quickly. ;)
