Hello all, was building my engine back up tonight and all was going well until I got to that feckin auto tensioner!!

Now obviously I dont have the correct tool to keep it compressed so was using a zip tie to no prevail when it finally just jobby itself..

So my question, should I just buy another new auto tensioner hoping it comes already compressed or does anyone know where in the uk sells the manual tensioner conversion kit??

Im hoping to get this lump back together and in by next weekend so any help greatly appreciated!!

I have this kit on both my Preludes. It makes getting the belt on a right pain in the ass though.

New tensioners come compressed with a fitting tool included.

Incidentally, I've noticed pattern auto tensioners for sale relatively cheap on ebay recently, no idea on the quality though.
