aright guys something I cant explain is happening to my car! since insuring and running this car whenever I take car out for run 1st three gears are really juddery like low revs aren't going smooth.
Then when I turn car off and oil temp is right up I switch it back on but idling is low and almost like ive got ac and all electrics on draining power out it.
This happened to my silver auto lude when I first got it but after a couple doses of fuel injector cleaner it was running smooth and never had bother again. ive done same procedure with this one but its still pretty juddery and just not a smooth low revver? whats going wrong?

to be frank no

as my mechanics isn't the best. where would I start with testing alternator?
all ive done so far is service brakes new oil and filter that's it oh and fuel additive for injectors.
it drives don't get me wrong just doesn't feel right, like its not getting sufficient air fuel combo?

haha im workin in morning too but I think im nocturnal! as far as im aware nothing has been changed. quite a lack of service history with car! do all manual ludes take a good bit of revs to avoid stalling lol

if you can get hold of a multi meter you can check alternator and battery - if i remember right your looking for a reading of about 14.5 volts at the alternator with the engine running.

well heres the strange thing at cold start its straight to 1500 idling fine but once engine is hot idling tends to go funkypidgeon.com! my car is going into garage on Monday to fit roll links and fix a blow on exhaust for upcoming MOT so maybe ill ask the guy to check the alternator and ask his reading.
I know its late guys its appreciated.

fixing the blow on the exhaust might sort of the revs issue on its own - hole in exhaust could be knocking the o2 sensor off

its right at the back though just before back box would that still cause a problem like that?
