Hey Peeps,

Just wondering if 4th Gen downpipes are the same for UKDM & JDM..

Or are they slightly different sizes?

Thanks. ;)

Same length but different. Wont bolt up to one another. Cat holes align differently to.

Poo. :(

My downpipe is blowing, and Chris had one sat in his shed off his UKDM. So he said I could have it if I could get it fitted.

Not really that excited about forking out for a new one either considering I want to upgrade to a complete stainless system in a few months..

Don't think it can be repaired either.

:?
UKDM downpipe/manifolds are interchangeable? The different length is in the catback and cat?
The difference in the front cat flange bolts can be overcome by drilling them out slightly?
:?
I bought a ukdm japspeed manifold/downpipe to fit to Lisa's jdm and they were the only differences in terms of actually getting it to fit.
I've posted pics of the flange differences a few times on the forum Andy, if you take a look you should find them.

Yeah, problem is I don't have a UKDM mani. And it's got a silenced decat on it.

Want to try & get it sorted before the weekend really, so might go & see if it can be repaired.

Yea Wurly the different length is in cat/midsection, I did put the downpipe was same length  As far as I know and I may be wrong here but the bolt holes don't line up up between the different mani/downpipes either? Sure this is why everyone swaps both parts if they cant find the same one they have. Perhaps someone can confirm this true or false.

We both know about the bolt holes being different between the different downpipe/cats. Infact perfect example is you backing me up when I couldn't post and showing some pics in this thread.

Yep, those are the posts/pics I meant, well found. Was posting on the phone in between underground stations this morning, so didn't have time to check facts/links first...

It could be a good time filler for him to keep the nerves away while he's kept waiting for her being 'fashionably' late?? ;)
