Lude Generation

I'm new to the honda game but My dizzy is cooked I think ,is there any way of testing the dizzy. I pulled off the cap and still no spark coming off the tip of the dizzy , is there any sure way of testing it ,and is the sir 2.2 dizzy the same as the vti 2.2 thanks guys

All 2.2 vtec 5th Gen dizzies are the same, should be a td89u

Just replace it man, there's an igniter and ignition module under the plastic that surrounds the rotor arm, either one of those is probably goosed,

Had the same issue myself a few days ago, try replace with 2nd oem.

Also you can test them if you have a test light etc.

I'm having some difficulties myself when I try to start the engine ... Sounds like is coughing ... Where I can find a used one for a 2.0 5th Gen ?
