You want either a long reach AEM or an OEM dual intake chamber found on 99+ 2.2's and all JDM 5th gens with a K&N panel filter. Also the resonator box behind the bumper should be removed.

*Edit. Can a mod move this to the engine section.

:)

do I need to re add this to the engine section? mine is a 99 2.2 red top, would I get good gains from just a panel filter

It will open it up a bit. Get a K&N panel filter and ditch the resonator box behind the front bumper.

can I just take that resonator box off with no problems?

Do you have the stock intake on your Prelude. The dynamic chamber 99+ UKDM/Type S induction kit cannot be beaten on a n/a Prelude.

Just stick a panel filter in there and remove the lower resonator housing in the bumper if you have this.

For the love of torque, I'd recommend you keep the resonator box. :poke:

Its behind the front bumper on the drivers side, you can only see it when the bumper is off.
