Intake Control Solenoid Valve

can this be removed? I see it missing from a lot of lude engine bays with aftermarket cold air intakes?

as it's in the way of fitting my CDA cone

Yes you can remove it. Just make sure you block the vacuum hose on the intake manifold.

Ah right, fair enough mate, I thought you had an H22.

I do have an H22 :) just the lude manual only shows either F20, F22 or H23 for this section, and the H23 is very similar anyway to the H22

The H22 vacuum diagram is in one of the suppliments (different file), though looking at it I don't think there are any differences anyway.

Yea they all seem pretty much the same, I've deleted almost all vacuum lines, map sensor and the heater matrix vacuum thingy, which dosent seem to be needed (straight pipe will do) so really just the map sensor and fuel rail valve.
