Mapping on a 5g isn't a basic mod unfortunately - it means changing the ecu (crome, hondata, aem etc.)

Unless I've misunderstood previous comments on the forum and stretched my limited 5g knowledge too far there

someone that knows help me out? Merlin???

Same as a 4th gen then

Only difference is you need a conversion harness from obd2a(if memory serves me right) to obd1

Not quite the same... on a 4th gen you can buy a ready re-mapped chip from Rob and stick that in for about 20 quid all in... Magnitude of cost difference and ease.

It was as straight forward as Dale Winton.
