I have a K&N induction kit fitted to my car. It works really well, but is no longer aesthetically pleasing. Is t possible to refurb or can I just change the tubing...is it something I can d myself?

You can strip or rub down the old pipework and respray it.

I believe K&N do a red wrinkle finish on some of their kits, you could copy that and do your rocker cover at the same time.

I wouldn't be confident enough to do the rocker cover. I would not be able to lift it off...however tempting!

Covers are light as a feather haha, is it a panel filter or a cone?

Its all the bits that is plugged into it. Anyway. I think I am doing it tomorrow..... I'll just number everything as I take them off then put everything back on in reverse... It is a cone filter.

You can also buy a "recharger" kit for about £15. Comes with pretty straightforward instructions on how to clean out the cone too

The recharger kit is for the cone filter part itself.
I think it's the pipework Raggagirl is talking about?

I know
I was just recommending she clean the cone too. No point in a shiny pipe and a manky cone
