So my rear engine mount is shot, I've been thinking about buying some energy suspension inserts:

Obviously there will be more vibration at idle, but how bad is it? Anyone got energy suspension inserts installed?

the rear one is the one that doesn't always fit

be easier to get one from a breaker and fill it with tigerseal

But for the sake of £20, surely the energy suspension ones will be better? I'm more curious to know how bad the vibration will be.

yeah but not if the one you need doesn't fit! I bought a set ages ago and only the front one fit

you wont care or notice anything that will annoy you but launches will feel more secure.

The inserts are good for newish bushes but they sag out of shape and it gets impossible to slide them in. Filling mounts with a strong tube injected poly is a good ghetto fix. If I didnt have them from ituned i would have done that.

It was not sag that stopped them fitting, the shape was very different, I just assumed it was because mine used to be an auto. Maybe they fit 5ths ok?
