Blue Smoke

Hi All,
A 4th gen I am interested in (UKDM BB1) puffs out a bit of blue smoke when started from cold but then is OK and doesn't use much oil. Is it worth the risk or should I leave it?
As these cars are approaching 20 years old I know there are going to be issues that need sorting. My plan is to use it as a daily (about 10k miles a year) but at the same time I will sort anything that needs sorting. I could just buy a newer car for more money that doesn't have issues, an EP3 for example, but that would be no fun and there is something about Prelude’s for me, my next one will be my 3rd.
Due to the age of these cars I assume most are going to require some sort of engine rebuild at some stage soon?
Any advice/thoughts welcome.
Thanks
Mike
