Which Oil

Post by ATR84 » Mon Nov 24, 2014 1:17 pm

What oil and filter should I use in my 4th gen? It is a 20 year old BB1 with 97k on the clock. I want to look after the old engine as best I can, so what what you all recommend?

Thanks
Mike

5w40 or 10w40, fully or semi synthetic. I use 5w40 in my bb4 with 300,000kms on her, and no oil problems.

5/40 fully synthetic all day long. Genuine oil filter should cost around a tenner.

Yea. For the sake of a fiver difference use a genuine one. I can get them around £8-9 each.
