Hi guys.

I've been offered an h22a7 for a good price. I was just wondering what things I'd need to fit it into my 5 gen.

Any help would be much appreciat ed and many thanks in advance

Ha ha I meant more for things like knock sensor (if applicable) and there's been a few threads on the intake manifold recently too. I'm hoping it'll come with said mani but if not, would the one that's on my h22a fit ok? And would I need to do anything with the ecu?

Inlet manifold would fit the ecu will run the engine maybe not as well as the Atr ecu would but would still be a quick and powerful engine should have a knock sensor fitted afaik should be pretty much plug and play

This^^

Although if you 5th gen is 97-98 with an H22a5, and you continue to use the OEM ECU, that ECU wont be looking for a knock sensor as the H22a5 doesn't have one. The only UK engines to have knock sensors were the H22a7 & H22a8.
