Halford's cheap oil!!

Post by Blarge » Mon Dec 29, 2014 1:31 am

Hi All,

Just thought I would let you know that Halfords have a deal on oil at 12 quid for 4L. I know some of you wont run it in your lude but it might save you some money when it comes to servicing the other half's motor or any other cars you have :)

Hope it saves you some cash after xmas as I know we all need it this time of year!

Ben

They also have discounts on some of the Mobil 1 range which some do run on their ludes.

They are also tempting me with there industrial range tool box and top box combo at £299 instead of £610!

I have them too. Top and bottom with a trade card for around £250 when they had a bogof offer on and trade discount. The mobil 1 0/40 in the merc is £43 to me from my local mf and is £47 on this offer. Still a pretty good deal on the tool boxes though.

I was also looking at the toolboxes as well, they do look good for the price. I'll have to keep an eye out of the Bogof as I've got a trade card :). The advanced tools they have on offer are not bad either, my first one has lasted 5 years and is still working well and they will replace sockets on the advanced range should you decide to hammer it on to damaged nut :). There not snap-on quality but there not snap-on price either.

I was just looking at using the oil to flush out a filthy ford engine and at 12 quid you can't go wrong :) The oil hadn't been changed for some time so its a cheap way to get the job done.

I cant comment in this, but i was told by a halfords scrote that their advanced professional tools were made by snapon. pretty sure thats a load of bollocks.

Not that their tools arent brilliant for the money mind.

And i recently bought a cheapy box for myself, 64 quid on the trade card, well happy with the quality for what i paid.
