New header and downpipe needed
My downpipe is on it's way out and is blowing from the flexi and getting worse. I heard DC sports is a direct fit but it says it has a 2.5 inch collector. Isn't the standard cat 2.25 inch though? I don't want to decat. This is the link:

I don't want to spend the earth on this but also I can't wait around for a good used manifold as mine is going downhill fast. Any help appreciated.

DC sports manifold and downpipe going onto standard cat, plus a skunk 2 cat back exhaust. It is not fitted yet, will be done this week, I will update my profile once done, hopefully there will be no problems. If my cat ever goes I might get a hi flow one, but I didn't want to decat because I didn't want to muck around changing the cat over come MOT time, plus old bill in my area seem to like pulling cars over to check if they are road legal or not. Saw a Skyline getting towed away under supervision of the old bill recently, it was because it has no cat!

^^ All UK cars from August 1992 are required to have a CAT. Honda Prelude BB4 JDM imports are slightly later at June 1995. http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/wiki/in ... sions_Test
The flanges should be the same size though so fitment, in that regard, should not be an issue.
The OEM CAT has a 2.0" ID, just like the rest of the OEM exhaust systemATR84 wrote:Isn't the standard cat 2.25 inch though
