Since I jacked the back of my car up the cat light stays light up on the dash? How do you reset it?
The battery light was also on but it was flat and I jump started the car of a jump pack.

The car been garaged for about a year and a half but has been started and moved at least once a month.

i no this might sound daft but how and where did you connect the boost pack up did you use both battery terminals or just the live and earthed it via the the exhaust only asking as none this to cause weird problems before

If the CAT light is on when it's cold then I suspect it is one of 2 things:

A faulty CAT sensor, you can rule this out by disconnecting the plug from under the car and earthing the loom end, if it goes out it's the sensor.

An alternator issue, quite a few of us have had dodgy alternators which show the CAT light and the battery light. Mine did this and I fixed it with a new rectifier.

Connected to the battery and engine earth point. Just like I have done before.

Mine just passed with a 4WS light on.
I queried it and was told that although the lamp colour means 'warning', there's no scope for 4WS in the MoT.

This.
Any idea where loom end? Also I can't reset the 4ws light now? Could the two things be linked?
