Apart from the obvious..... What does this 'sport mode' actually do??

I get a little green S light up on the dash when it's pressed.

just holds each gear a little longer

Ahh furry muff, so it should in theory bring my revs higher if i boot it

Basically it's a wanna be Vtec ha (I can pretend)

It will probably make the gearbox kick down at lighter presses of the throttle too.

There was an actual definite explanation thread of this recently


(ps didn't know it made a light come up on the dash )

Its a "not quite so gay but still quite gay" mode.
