Does anyone recognise this engine?

I know this is a bit random, but does anyone recognise this engine? It has a very distinctive, hand-painted plug cover.
So story is, I've just bought this and it's not quite what I was promised as it seems to be a mismatched block and head. So while it's unlikely, it would be nice to find the original owner and find out what it is. It's from a 5th gen, has anyone seen this before?

what makes you think its a mismatched block and head?

Well it could just be a red rocker cover, but the finish looks OEM. The block is an A5 and the throttle body is 62mm.
I'm not sure what else, externally, is different between an A8/A7/Type S and an A5 head/intake to check.

The head has a code on it that will tell you what type of engine it was originally fitted to.
If it's an A7 head it would be PDE
I forget what codes and A8 and TypeS should have on, but I'm sure someone else will fill you in...

Pretty sure it's...
Accord Type-R head = PDE
Type-S head = P5M
S-Spec head = P5M
All other Preludes = P13

It's a P13 so could be an A5 or an A8. I suppose I could take the cam cover off and look at the valve mechanism. I might do that another day though because if this runs OK I'll do the valve clearances.
What about the throttle body or injectors, are they different between an A5 and A8? (I think they are the same though)

OK so looks like injectors are the same for an A5 and an A8.
I didn't mean throttle body, I know that isn't standard, I meant plenum, but I expect they are the same too.
I suppose I'll just have to wait until I do the valve clearances or if I I'm lucky enough to find the original owner.

I am pretty sure that the 60mm TB found on the a2, a5 and black top H22a2 starts off at 62mm and reduces down to 60mm. Whereas the 62mm TB on the a7, a8 and red top H22a is larger and tapers down to 62mm.

There should be stamped marks on the front of the engine that will tell you the date the engine was made. That will help you identify it.
Found on the net, list of engine numbers

Can anyone confirm that the throttle body tapers down, and that an A8/A7 throttle body is larger than 62mm at the opening?
I'll check for a taper tonight as well as date stamps and report back.
