Hey Guys!
I have a serious problem with my JRSC setup on the Lude :(
The Problem is that i shred my belt in just one day. A 6PK1930 was installed and when the motor was cold making some squeal noises. after 5 minutes it was completely gone in every rpm range.
The Belt was cutting itself on the outer edge and then shredding.

Was this maybe just a tension problem or do I need to align the Idlers? I have no idea what it could be.

Are all the idlers in line with the alternator? Have you got the alternator spacers and power steering bracket installed that came with the jrsc kit?

Also have you fed the belt over the correct idler position so it doesn't rub the engine mount. Find out exactly where it's rubbing.

Any chance of a clearer picture of the pulleys etc?

(Nice engine bay, by the way.)

So Guys i rechecked it today and redone every pulley now. now it is aligned proper! belt sits in line on all rolls.

still have the squeal noises when it was standing 1-2 hours. on the fresh install of the belt it was gone now im supposing that i just need to re-tighten because the belt needed to wear in.

today i will play with the tension a bit.

*when someone have some spare time. I need the dimensions and exact measurings of the alternator spacer if possible 8-)
