Upgraded axles

Hi guys,

I ordered a set of PGE stage 2.9 axles last week. Got an email from the guy they don't have them in stock after all and PGE don't make axles for the h22 anymore.

Now I have a choice between a few upgraded axles. Been searching the web and can't find that much information about it.
I would like some opinions before I buy.

The reason I went for the PGE axles is they are the same as the Mfactory axles . Fact is Mfactory charge over 100£ more so started to look at the other brands again .
Next inline is Hasport, they don't give a hp rating but simply say the axles are about twice as strong.
The other is insaneshafts..
Really don't know what to do.

Some of you might say I don't need upgraded axles.
I know my gearbox is still standard and won't do any drag racing with fullslicks.. But I am planning on a new wheel tire setup and running 255/40 semislicks up front, also upgrading my syngros. Together with about 500/600 hp I don't want to wait for them to go.

Any thoughts? :D

Yeah I would get them if you can afford them. I have broken a fair few OEM drive shafts in the last few years.

I don't think anyone on here has ever bought and fitted any upgraded driveshafts. Lead the way... :?

I don't really know of any others. What kind of prices have you got? Hond-R in the UK do Mfactory:

PGE suppose to be the Mfactory only with a different name. Rest was the same. They stopped using it now and only sell the Mfactory.

Like I said, will upgrade the box soon and don't do quick shifting or launches (yet).
Have 3 spare boxes laying around f and H series, want to find out which one drives the best with the turbo first before I spend a fortune on it..
Fingers crossed !

Update soon but no pics yet till it's all together 8-)
