Does anyone need replacement EGR Plugs?

Morning All,

Not sure I am in the right section here but....

I am of to the US in a few weeks and having failed miserably to find the replacement EGR plugs anywhere here I intend to take a trip to the local Honda dealer over there and source some.

I had to chemical metal fill mine and refit them so I want proper replacements.

After the help and kind words from you lot about my car I thought I would offer and see if anyone else needs some while I am getting them.

Prices vary but I would think a set of 6 with postage to you back here will easily be on the happy side of a fiver. I will only charge what is costs me though.

I can't bring hundreds back but I am willing to try and get 10 sets including mine if there is a demand.

Post a reply if you want some :)

from what i can make out m8 is when you blank off the egr valve all the ports that lead to it have to be blocked with plugs and then a blanking plate fitted over the hole. i hope i got it right?

I think the upgrade to the standard plugs is to tap out the holes and fit a grub screw, makes it so much easier to clean next time!

They are the plugs that you remove to clean out the EGR ports. There is a tech bulletin for the job that specifies replacement brass plugs but you can't get them here.

Here is link to the accord Sb http://honda.justanswer.com/uploads/acu ... rd_egr.pdf

Same applies but you can't get the plugs here!

This ^ again. This is what I had PA do for me.

Also, the port caps are only compatible with the 5th gen intake manifold!! The 4th gen port caps are actually sealed over so they're not removable without a lot of work.
