I wonder if there is a difference between US and JDM ATTS units. There are other examples of the US getting bits that the rest of the world did not get.
There is no mention of ATTS filter on Lings

Fluid change on atts is every 100,000 miles. Oil filter isn't mentioned anywhere in the service manual. I certainly never changed mine when I did a change.
Wait I did change my filter. I swapped it for an m2p4 box.

Yeah I just looked through the ATTS section of the service manual and it says nothing about swapping the filter. I can see on the diagrams where it should be but it is unlabeled. Interestingly I never knew the ATTS unit needs ATF fluid rather than MTF.

It would surprise me if it does have a filter somewhere, that's meant to be 'sealed for life'
