Guys I be be able to get my hands on a cheap H22a7 I think a full engine with a lot of the ancillaries missing.
I don't want to start tearing my H22a block down but would like to know if I can swap the heads over as a direct swap and if it's worth it? or if not for whatever reason and mostly because of time and cost could I do a like for like swap of the atr cams into my h22a as well as the intake?
Cheers all

Heads can be swapped.
Cams can be swapped to your head. Inlet can too but needs modified. If doing inlet has to be tuned as single runner inlet.

This info interests me
I have the a7 head in my car port atm, what mods would I need to do on the inlet to make it fit?
Like exactly lol

the inlet will fit the a7 head with no problem but to fit any other h22 head will need some work smoothing down the mounting flange and if your using the lude injectors then you need to unshroud the ports and also fill the small holes in the mounting face

Sounds like a lot of work for not much in gains lol
We talking like 5 bhp if even?

with the cams and inlet it can be roughly 25 to 30 with a decent tune

Cheers guys I am definitely going to do the art inlet swap I think, you both mentioned some mods to fit I am putting the a7 inlet on my h22 so from speaking with friends this is a direct swap ie mounting the intake to the block. On the top in the a7 intake I will be completing the egr delete vacuum loop and coolant bypass along with the chamber cover mod/block that's the part on the top with the holes and cut outs in it, is this what you referring to?
I will be using the h22a injectors and resister box still and from speaking again they don't need any modification to fit? Could you clarify if that is correct?

the injectors will fit but you will have to unshroud the part where they will inject the petrol if you stick an injector in the manifold and look at the engine side of the manifold you will see it

If you use a hondata thermal gasket you don't need to shave the mating faces.
there are other mods required, there is a guide in the rosko racing website
