if i was going to turbo my 4th gen...
what engine would be best to use..
its a h22a at the moment
is it even possible to turbo the h22, just that i read stuff about turbo'd 2.3s which are low comp or something...
any input would be brilliant
cheers

ideally you need to sleeve the h22 for big power, the yanks turbo the f22 and h23 mostly, thats pretty much the limit to what ive read on it

i'd stay h22a as its closed desk so a little stronger, mahle golds would be an option if you wanted to run more boost but if you want serious power then you want a sleeved block with forged pistons.

The engine build is dependent on the power you want to run safely and the size of your pockets :D

oh and to echo what bristol bb4 said h23 block is basically to all intents and purposes the same as a h22 block with a different crank, rods and pistons so yes it runs lower compression you will still get similar problems at 300ish bhp.

not really sure on the f22/f23 route although they do have iron liners as apposed to the frm ones in the h series!

have a look on honda-tech!

how about a g23 frankenstein
