4g UKDM VTEC ignition timing

Can anyone give me a wee bit of assistance.

I need to double check the base ignition timing on our 4g (dizzy previously removed)

I have a timing light & have found the rubber bung in the bellhousing.

Is it set at idle with a warm engine? The figure I have seen is 17 degs +/- 2. Is that correct?

I assume it's set with the timing light connected to #1 & a mark should line up within the hole & if not then simply twist the dizzy til it does??

Any help gratefully received

Pretty sure its 15 degrees + - 2. Also, you need to short the service connector under dash whilst checking/ adjusting.
