Hi everyone, I bought my prelude knowing it had a oil leak from oil pump, which still needs sorting...
Just bought kaizenspeed balance shaft remover and manual tensioner which needs putting on, so wanting all above sorting out plus new cam, crank seals and water pump putting on but can't find anyone to sort out my prelude
The engine is a h22a
The closer to Doncaster, south Yorkshire dn6 the better but willing to travel if anyone knows who can sort out this for me, can you get in touch please

Remeber the Kaizenspeed balance shaft kit is an engine out job so you will either have to remove it yourself or pay someone to do that as well.

FWIW, I also think balance shaft removal on a standard engine for road use is nuts unnecessary expense.

I'm having my balancer shafts removed but also having the engine rebuilt at the same time. Never in a million years would I pay to only have the shafts removed. Would cost around £1500 just to do it for the littlest gain.

You can just leave the belt off. The weight is still there but it's no longer a moving mass. I've been told the gain can be as much as 3hp.

I'll just get manual tensioner done then and I'll leave the balance shaft delete for a later day
