I bought some injectors off ebay from a lad who was running a turbo h22 but now ive gor them there different from standard injectors as now he sais i might have to modify the fuel rail to fit
are h22a and h22a8 the same fitment or different
Also is 700cc too big for a n/a build

H22a8 will be the same as 5th gen H22a injectors but different to 4th gen H22a injectors. But they should all fit in the same holes in the fuel rail, if the don't I am in trouble with my own build.
Yes I think so. For comparison I have 450cc and I am around 270bhp.njord wrote:Also is 700cc too big for a n/a build

they may be a little too big but you can adjust the fueling through your ecu cant you? from what i have read you would possibly be better with 550cc-600cc but might be fine

I don't know the reason for it but I expect your mapper will say they are too big, I think they like to run at around 80% ?
I'm awaiting a wiring loom for my s60 but it's been ages
, as for the injectors not fitting, I may of had the same problem! Is the injector a sung fit into the rail and won't fit with the o-ring? Also do the injectors seem to be to short in the bodies?

I would say diferent is on only cc . As h22 injectors from 4gen is 345cc and h22a5 is 290cc. Not sure on h22a8 but think its 290cc too. Other than that there is only fuel rail feed line in diferent sides.Merlin wrote:H22a8 will be the same as 5th gen H22a injectors but different to 4th gen H22a injectors.
