Any NA builds?

Sorry me again, going through phases here haha

Does anyone have a NA build?
High comp pistons, valves retainers port and polish blah blah

Been really put off the turbo idea now that it could/should cost upwards of 5k so any real advice etc would be great.
Best bang for buck is always turbo but it's the bang part I'm worried about haha

Me, Nafeman, Phil, Drax, Rich (Buzzonion) and there may be a few others.

A high end turbo build is still cheaper than an NA build. But Na is best (obviously  )

Hmm
What sorta price we talking for NA?
If it's just pistons and some head work and I looking near 230/240?

Bennyboy's 4th gen and Nafman's road 5th gen are in (and just over) that region of power.

Then surely that's enough? Haha
Wouldn't any more than 250 in a fwd be wasted?

240bhp NA will be so much fun and quick.my brothers ep3 was 230bhp and it really shifted.

There are a few of us pushing for not far away from 300, even if they don't state their power goals the spec of their builds will be approaching that. But being Na this does not come cheap.

It's all subjective, there are plenty of drag cars pushing mega BHP that are FWD.....

Personally, I'm an old git now (38) and I've driven a lot of cars, some of them with big power etc. but I like to find a balance.
For me, the power I have is great, it's 'modern' numbers (S2k etc) but still very much a lude - FWD/NA/VTEC blah blah.
So for my needs it's the best of all worlds, it's comfortable and not peaky, but wicked fun to drive when you're out on your own on nice clear roads and I can get all that power down and use it, though it will spin if you're too OTT of course.
I would say if you go the route that I and Nafe have, get an LSD too to get the most out of it. My car in the corners now is lush, I've owned it for 14 years and it honestly still makes me smile, and compares pretty 'favourably' ;) to a lot of my mates new cars, if that bothers you.
