so this weekend consisted of swapping my M2B4 gearbox for a U2Q7 box in my racecar
I've had the U2Q7 box stripped down and had an M factory 5.15 final drive kit fitted.
Surprisingly the gearbox guy said the internals were mint apart from it needed a new 3rd/4th synchro hub
hopefully this will improve my lap times and make my car more competative in class against the lighter kit cars
Hopefully doing a trackday at Anglesey on thursday to test the box as I'me racing there weekend after next

I think you will find it a big improvement over the M2B4

Its a great box.. It did help me alot. Thats a VERY short final drive bro.. your top speed will be rather low.. and you will be changing gear all the time! I was thinking about the 4.64 fd but decided not to.. the ratios are ok on my local track.
Got the same issue.. 3rd and 4th syngro's are on their way out..
I do recommend getting all syngro's upgraded.. they will go bad again...
Im getting a new box build by PAW with a KaaZ diff.. Get this one fixed and sold..

Do have the means to record your next race? I think there's quite a few of us here who'd love to hear you screaming around the track

Was down to money but the ATR LSD is better than M2B4 lsd. More like a Quaife diff
