driveshaft install help

So I removed the drivers side driveshaft because it was vibrating and went bad.I swapped the bearings in it and fitted it back again and it was great,back to normal and now after a few weeks its started vibrating again.

does this mean I should just replace the whole thing as its proberly fu*ked?

when I fitted it back in it just slotted in with a little guidance.is there a particular way the driveshaft has to be installed? or is it just a case of putting it in anyway aslong as the splines match up.am sure its fitted up right but its my first time I have done this job.

Each drive shaft has only 2 bits where they can wear, the inner and outer CV's. The inner CV's are a cup and spider bearing config and the outers are the traditional CV joint.

You can tell if it is the inner CV by jacking up the car and slowly rotating the wheel back and forth in an attempt to feel any graunches or hear any clicking. A fooked outer CV is easy discovered when the shaft is out as the outer CV will be stiff and will not rotate round properly.

the set ring is what holds the inner cv joint in place so make sure its on there and not damaged and you push the joint in until its seated properly.
Honda recommend that you fit a new one when changing the driveshafts but i doubt many people do this.
sure that the driveshaft you got yesterday from me will sort your issues out ;)
