TCS & Lightweight flywheel

Post by vanzep » Wed May 25, 2016 8:20 pm

Just wanted to know if im likely to have any issue with the Traction Control System if i fit a lightweight flywheel (Kaiten/Jun copy 4.6 kgs). Its going onto a manual 4th gen import BB1 with factory fitted TCS. :?
If anyone can shed some light it would be appreciated :)

I`ve installed the TCS in my LHD, it is the grandfather of these systems- takes signal from the ABS sensors, 4WS, and sends them in the TCS control unit, which sends signals to the ECU to change fuel and timing when one wheel turns with different rate than the others. So I also think there won`t be a problem with your plan :)
