So my clutch is starting to slip..
I'm thinking whilst it's coming apart I might as well do something to aid performance so I thought about putting an m2b4 LSD box back on with h22 lightened flywheel..

Will the ratios sit right being that the engine doesn't rev as high as the h22?

Will a h22 flywheel with clutch bolt straight up?

Cheers for your knowledge in advance :D

@indigolemon is prob best to answer this one :)

if i remember right he had a 2.3 and said the 3rd gear was longer than other boxes and this was a good thing - im sure he took that box and put it into his vtec - your are doing the exact opposite

i dont know if this answers your question very well

Thought hw3 had a longer fd? 4.062 possibly compared to the 4.26 of a vtec one?

Done some research on this and have found there is two different M2K4 gearboxes, EUDM one has the same final, 5th gear and 4th as M2b4, but longer 1st, 2nd and 3rd..

The AUDM M2K4 in my car has a lower final drive than the EUDM box but same gear set..

So if I swap my M2K4 for an M2B4 I will get shorter 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final drive as well as an LSD

I got my info from here http://www.preludeonline.com/f61/h-f-se ... 731?page=1

90% sure I'm right on this but gear ratios frazzle my brain sometimes
