Sikaflex is the usual choice but I'd like to try this http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Adhesiv ... 0ml/p60981

Dry time is way quicker than sikaflex which basically needs weeks to fully cure.

Haven't others used the likes of Tiger Seal?

P. S.. Sikaflex will cure faster in a damp environment. ;)

cheers guys, ill stick with the proven Sikaflex then as its available in my Screwfix around the corner from work 8-)

if i was in a rush for it to dry, i'd happily try that Stixall otherwise 8-)

Is that black magic trick or something!!!

I do like the stikall, I've been using it while renovating and general DIY, seems to stick everything, even if it's wet. Probably good for sticking on bits of trim and body kits took guess

It uses the moisture in the air as a catalyst to cure. Fill your mounts then stick them in the bathroom and have a nice steamy bath.

I used clear Sikaflex from Screwfix after reading this thread. A couple of the mounts were shot so thought I'd give this a shot until I get round to replacing them. The split ones have a lot less flex than they did before, but the ones that were in good condition to start with have next to no flex when trying to move them by hand. I've yet to try them in the car but it seems like they'll make a worthwile improvement.

Remove them from the car first, I once did a Civic torque mount in situ and I think I did a much better job on the Prelude ones with them removed.

I used the Souldal stuff same as Sikaflex on my racecar mounts.

Its stood up to the job a season and half
