Are these worth the money? Will I see much of a decrease in torque?
What is the standard flywheel weight on a H22.
Are EURO R flywheels lighter from factory?

4.4kg in my ATR was one of the best mods I've done. Just makes the engine feel free and climb the revs much quicker.

Had mine done as my clutch needed doing. Was a no brainer as the labour is effectively nothing if done with the clutch.

Yep it's a great mod. The only downside is that you loose momentum off throttle quicker as there is less me to store energy.

Previous owner fitted one in my h22a8 when he did the clutch - immediately noticeable when blipping the throttle. Hard to tell what it was like before as my previous lude was a h22a5.

Definitely made heal and toe easier/smoother on the track - less inertia when trying to match up the revs on down shifts.

100% worth doing. Not sure of the stock weight or about the euro R sorry

Thanks lads I'm going to go for a completion clutch lightweight flywheel at 5.2kg. The ultra lightweight one is 4kg which might see a big drop in torque.

I fitted an ATR flywheel to my BB4 - it was stamped P13 and looked to be same as a prelude flywheel
Ive got the 4.6kg Kaiten Flywheel in my BB1 and its good imo i wasnt sure about lightened flywheels at first due to what id read on the web but got to say its a good thing

I have one in my car already and the car just seems power up quick and for some reason it feels lighter.

Hopefully this week, the LSD and accord R clutch go in, and then it will be happy days.

My advice is buy a once piece flywheel (ie not the Fidanza). The likes of the Competition Clutch or Kaiten flywheels are single piece forged steel and are more reliable and can handle heat better.
