Looks like something more complicated to go wrong...costing even more to repair.

But I'm not up to speed with modern engine technologies. I recently found out about cars without cambelt, camshafts and all the associated equipment using electronical solenoids to move the valves instead.

EDIT: Is electronical even a word?! I'm too tired lol

Infinity have this in their new engines. Mazda are doing it soon.
Koienigsegjkkggddghuyfhg have developed freevalve. No cams or valves.

Clever, yet simple. 300 patents though? Wow!

That's going to be a fun engine to mod ;)
