Hi everybody!
This afternoon i've looked at my engine and my four cylinders are between 16.5 and 17 bars.
Could somebody tell me what are the compressions value for a "brand new" engine? What are the maximum value that i can reach with an OEM engine?
Thanks a lot for your help

spec for the H22A2 ukdm 4th gen vtec is 185 if i remember right. JDM engines are slightly higher. Im getting around 215 on my well worn H22A1 engine from my BB4 with 195,000miles
also read that as long as the readings are uniform then all is ok
somebody on here will have the correct specs for the H22A7

Thank you for the input Vanzep
A friend of mine tell me that on his fully build B18 11.1 CR he has 17 bars , so i think my numbers are pretty good for an "old" engine

The value is not so important. So long as all the cylinders are roughly the same and its all good!

For an H22A8 in top condition, you'll have nearly 250 PSI , for a worn engine , Vanzep talk of a value near 215 PSI for an H22A1, so i suppose that an H22A8 engine with 215 PSI can be called "worned" ?
But as Merlin mentioned it, it is also important to have value as close as possible between all the cylinders
